Name: Liz Grice
Job title: Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist
Main Roles and Responsibilities: Provide neuropsychological assessment, psychological therapy for clients and their relatives, run carer information groups.
Length of service: involved with Headway Dorset in one capacity or another since 1994 when I was just a fairly newly qualified clinical psychologist.
Hobbies and interests: I am actively involved in Christ Church, Winchester and serve on their Prayer Ministry Team.
I serve on the Pastoral Team at Spring Harvest (a Christian conference held at Butlins) each Easter.
Tracing family through Ancestry UK (I have found a 3rd cousin in the USA and another one in Staffordshire, and my mother has been reunited with a second cousin that she first met when they were 10 years old! They are both 89 now.)
Choral singing – I sing with the Compton & Shawford Festival Choir, Doing up our house in France, Tasting and drinking French wine – my husband and I run the occasional wine tasting.

Main Roles and Responsibilities: Providing ongoing rehab and support in the community, monitoring wellbeing, medication compliance and rehab programmes. Running education and cognitive rehab groups.

Job title: Clinical Manager
Main Role & Responsibilities: Registered Nurse and Team Leader. Responsible for the management, development and supervision of the Headway Dorset rehabilitation service.
Length of Service: Commenced working for Headway Dorset in January 2001 as a Rehabilitation coordinator at Greenwood in Dorchester. Has since worked as a rehabilitation coordinator at Headway Dorset in Poole and as community family/carer support nurse. Employed as Clinical Manager since October 2008 based in Poole with clinical management responsibility for the Whitfield’s site in Dorchester. Employed full time and is studying for BA (Hons) Leadership and Management (Health and Social care).

Name: Danni Williams
Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Main Roles and Responsibilities: One of my roles is assessing clients functional strengths and difficulties. I also help clients identify what their goals for the future are, which can be anything from eating, washing and dressing more independently, gaining the confidence and skills to use public transport, joining a gym, or returning to work. Using the assessment information, I work with the client to decided which goals are most important to them, and design a rehabilitation programme to help them work towards them.
Length of Service: I have been with Headway Dorset for 4 months (since 6 September 2010), although I spent 3 months here previously.
Hobbies and Interests: Outside of work I love live music, spending time with my sister and her kids, playing pool, painting and reading amongst other things.

Name: Judi Thomson.
Job Title: Family and Carer Support Worker.
Main Roles and Responsibilities: I offer support to carers and families following a brain injury. This can include one to one meetings in a confidential setting to provide a listening ear, as well as running groups for carers to give them information, education and practical advice regarding welfare benefits, services available and assessments.
Length of Service: I have been with Headway for 2 years.
Hobbies and Interests: Walking, reading and trying to outwit my Nintendo Wii which I had for Christmas that keeps telling me I am too fat!

Name: Lucy Sangar
Job Title: Consultant Occupational Therapist
Main Role & Responsibilities: As an Occupational Therapist I work to understand how an acquired brain injury has affected an individual's ability to perform day-to-day tasks independently. Through structured rehabilitation programmes, education and goal-setting, I work on a one-to-one basis with individuals and their families to help them to re-learn skills to regain functional independence, including returning to employment.
Length of Service: Qualified in 1994 with over 15 years' experience working in neurological rehabilitation. Commenced working at Headway Dorset in 2008.
Hobbies and Interests: Running is my main hobby and I love cross country trails and coastlines. I also enjoy all outdoor activities including sea swimming and cycling.

Job Title: Rehabilation Coach Assistant.
Main Roles and Responsibilities: I support clients with rehab into the community, i.e. bus work, cooking, gym, swimming, gardening in the community and voluntary work.
Length of Service: I've worked at Headway Dorset for 18 months.
Hobbies and Interests: I have a love for the outdoors, camping, scouting, watersports, wearing hats in the Winter and flip flops in the Summer!

Name: Martina Askell
Job Title: Receptionist and going to start as Befriending Co-ordinator. Very excited about the new position.
Main Roles and Responsibilities: Managing the reception, paperwork, phone and helping with admin. Soon to join Lynn and help organise the buddy scheme.
Length of Service: I am the new girl and only started on 1st Nov 2010.
Hobbies and Interests: Apart from looking after my 3 children and helping my husband run his business, my spare time is taken up with scouting.

Main roles and Responsibilities: As the charity has grown my role has changed from being a typist and now oversee all administrative matters including the receptionist/administrator. I am also responsible for the daily/monthly processing of the charity financial matters. In addition to this I organise and minute meetings of the Board of Trustees.
Length of Service: 12 Years
Hobbies and interests: Travelling, dancing, gardening, reading, beach walks, spending time with family especially the little ones aged between 11 months and 4 years.
